Ahalia School Of Engineering And Technology (ASET) Palakkad

Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology is also known as ASET. The institute is located in the east of Pudussery in the state Kerala. The institute is being managed by Ahalia International Foundation.

Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Kerala and it has also been affiliated to the University of Calicut. The institute has also affiliation to Kerala Technological University.

The campus of the university is covered with flowers, bushes and trees making it suitable and environmental friendly for studies. The laboratories are well maintained and have all the necessary equipments.

The institute offers Bachelor’s degree in various programmes, few of them are as follows:

• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Mechanical engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering

The institute also offers degree in Science and Humanities courses.

Application and Admission Procedure

HOW TO APPLY

The eligibility criterion for admission to B.tech degree is such that the applicant should have passed the higher secondary examination of the state board with 60% aggregate marks in physics and chemistry together and Minimum 45% marks in maths, whereas the applicants belonging to socially backward classes needs to have 40% marks in maths and55% marks in physics and chemistry put together.

Application process

ONLINE MODE

The applicants have to apply on an online portal available on the college website for writing the entrance test known as KEAM (CEE) with a payment of Rs. 700 for general category and Rs. 300 for SC/ST, and Rs. 12,000 if applicants opt Dubai as exam centre.

OFFLINE MODE

Only the payment can be made in the offline mode through challan.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

After filling the application form the candidate needs to appear for the college entrance examination which is KEAM(CEE).The exam will be held in the month of April. If the applicant clears the exam, they may seek admission after the verification of all required documents and counselling session.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

• There are 2 hostels, 1 for boys and 1 for girls.
• On campus, there are 300 for boys and 200 for girls.

On campus medical facility: The on campus medical facility in ASET, is vital for the students and any sort of emergency situation is expertly dealt with by the doctors present.
