Fee Structure of Delhi Institute Of Advanced Studies (DIAS)

1. National Scholarship Scheme:

• Provided by the Government of India.
• Applicable to students who have secured at least 80% marks in their previous qualifying examination.
• Parents' income should not exceed Rs. 6 lakhs per annum.

1. Post Matric Scholarships:

• OBC (Other Backward Classes), SC (Scheduled Castes) and Merit Scholarships for students belonging to these categories.
• Parents' income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs per annum.

1. EWS Scholarship:

• Provided by DIAS.
• For students from economically weaker sections.
• Parents' income should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh per annum.

The scholarship amounts vary based on the scheme and the course -

• Under the National Scholarship Scheme, MBA students can receive up to Rs. 20,000 per annum, while BBA and B.Com (H) students can get up to Rs. 10,000 per annum.
• Under the Post Matric Scholarship (OBC), MBA students can receive up to Rs. 30,000 per annum, while BBA and B.Com (H) students can get up to Rs. 20,000 per annum.
• The EWS Scholarship offers up to a 50% fee waiver.

The number of scholarships available varies by course:

• For instance, under the National Scholarship Scheme, there are 82 scholarships for MBA, 41 for MBA (Financial Management), 82 for BBA and 82 for B. Com (H) students.
• Under the Post Matric Scholarship (OBC), there are 41 scholarships for MBA, 20 for MBA (Financial Management), 41 for BBA and 41 for B. Com (H) students.

Eligibility criteria:

• Merit-based scholarships require a minimum percentage of marks in previous qualifying exams and current courses.
• Need-based scholarships require proof of parents' income along with the application form .

To apply for any of these scholarships, students must fill out an online application form on the official website of the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) or DIAS as applicable. Required documents include mark sheets, income certificates, caste certificates and bank account details. The application deadline is usually in October or November each year.
