Future Institute of Technology (FIT) is located just 2 kilometres away from Dairy Main Bus Stand in Garia, Kolkata in the state of West Bengal. It was established in the year 2014. The campus is spread across 5 acres of land. The campus has a clean and green ambience.The institute is private, self-financed type.

The institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata which was previously known as the West Bengal University of Technology. The institute has secured 92^nd rank all over India. It has been accredited by grade – A.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply-

Only offline mode of application is available for applying to its various courses.

Interested students can procure the application form from the academic counter of the college. Students have to submit a demand draft of the amount which will be decided by the competent authority in due course of time.

Then students have to fill in the requisite academic and personal details and submit the form within 3 days (for an in-state candidate) and 7 days (for outstation candidate) along with the full course fee. Applicants can directly enroll for the admission by paying the course fees. The fee structure is available on official website.

Admission procedure-

The students have to take WB JEE or national level entrance examination and further according to the rank student gets recommended by Central Selection Committee for respective colleges. Students can directly take the admission by confirming their seat and paying the mentioned fees.

Hostel and Facilities

Campus Facility-

Future Institute of Technology has situated in Kolkata region the state West Bengal. The campus is situated in a serene surrounding and lush green environment of this literary state.

The campus provided Air conditioned interactive classrooms supplemented with audio-visual aids. Each department has its own high tech laboratories and well-designed workshops. The university has a well-stocked library along with a computer center which provides digital resources to all its students.

Other facilities available are a cafeteria, Gymnasium, workshop, photocopy shop, Auditorium, guest house, common rooms and sports arena.

Hostel Facility-

Tie up hostel facilities is available for both boys and girls separately. Rooms are well furnished and provide a homely atmosphere. The hygienic kitchen is also attached to each hostel. Uninterrupted power supply, internet facility and round the clock security are other facilities provided by the college authorities.

Recreational rooms, sports arena, and departmental libraries are open 24/7 for the hostel students. New hostels are under construction to accommodate more students and to provide a comfortable stay for each and every candidate enrolled in the courses of this institute.
