Rajdhani College was established in the year 1964 by the Delhi Administration in Kirti Nagar, New Delhi. The college was initially deemed as a government college but was later renamed to Rajdhani College after it had been declared governance under an autonomous governing body.

The institute is situated in West Delhi on Mahatma Gandhi Marg (Ring Road) near Raja Garden, New Delhi.

Its motto is "Tejaswinavadhitamastu", which translates to "May Learning Illuminate Us". The college offers both undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in several fields, which make up a total of 20 available programs amongst which the following are the most popular:

Application and Admission Procedure

Students, who want to get admission in this college, have to fill the centralized form by visiting the web portal of Delhi University.

Firstly do the registration, fill the form and upload your recent passport size photograph and signature, select courses in which you want to apply.

Then, submit the form by paying the application form by using online payment options. After submitting the form take print out of the submitted form and application fee receipt as you have to show them at the time of admission.

Admission Procedure

The college admits students for UG courses strictly on the basis of cut off lists that are released by the Delhi University.

After each cut off list student will get three days time for admission and after it second cut off list will be released. Admission in pg courses is done through both merit and qualifying test.

50% seats are reserved for students who will be selected on the basis of merit and 50% seats are reserved for students who will clear the qualifying test.

The university was initially spread over 50 but then was extended to 500 acres.

The university is equipped with cooperative store, community radio, proper gym for both girls and boys, bus pass counter, railway reservation counter, sports complex, transportation system, library, labs, bank facilities, canteen, post office, mess, medical center, convenience store and WIFI connectivity.

HOSTEL

The college does not have hostel facility. Though, students can find affordable PG’s near the hostel.

There are 4 social societies NCC, NSS, Youth Red Cross and Rovers and Rangers unit.

There is anti-ragging cell, remedial cell, sports cell, discipline committee, trekking, mountaineering and environmental protection club, SC/ST cell and others.

There are 8 different awards for merit students in various fields.

The university organizes Ayaan which helps students to showcase their talents.
