Indira Institute of Management (PDGM Course) About the Institute:

Indira Institute of Management wants to close the walls between their campus, the corporate sector and beyond. The faculty of the college are very dedicated to their mission and strive to be the best at all times. They want to nurture their students to become the best of managers, entrepreneurs and human beings. The college offers a PGDM and MBA course. The college is affiliated to the University of Pune.

How to apply:

Students have to apply to Indira Common Admission Process (ICAP) to be eligible for admission. The forms can be filled at their website www.indiraiimp.edu.in. The application fees has to be paid online.

Admission Procedure:

Students have to apply to the institute with their CMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA scores for being selected in the further rounds. Students who meet educational and entrance exam cut offs have to go through the ICAP (India Common Admission Process) that includes a Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Counselling to be shortlisted for admission.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate is eligible if he has passed a degree examination from any university that is recognized with at least 50% marks. Students from minority classes are given a 5% relaxation.

Campus Facilities (i.e. Infrastructure):

The entire campus has a total of 2,00,000 sq. ft. of built up space complete with a conference center, a jogging track, an open air amphitheater, Wi-Fi access. The campus has modern class rooms and a large air conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 400.

Hostel:

There are separate hostels for boys and girls with strict rules against ragging. The hostels are spacious enough to accommodate all students and are highly secure.

Placements:

Each year over 250 companies arrive on campus to recruit the bright minds at Indira. The average salary stands at 3.84 lakhs currently with the highest package going up to 18 lakhs. Leading companies from a variety of sectors visit the campus year after year like Tata, Zee TV and Hutch.

Ranking:

Indira Institute of Management, Pune has been awarded the 38th rank in the all India ranking by Business India (December 2014).

Scholarship:

There are no scholarships provided currently to the students of the PGDM programme at Indira Institute of Management. However, all students are assisted by the institute for any financial aid needed by them.

Student Life:

The institute believes in outdoor training and has fixed dates for various activities planned out for the two years of the programme. They have a specialized OMT programme that prepares the future managers with management skills through adventure sports and experiences. There are various cultural activities and industry visits throughout the course period as well.

Important Dates:

The online registration forms are generally active from the 1st of November and the registration process continues till mid-April. Students are called for the ICAP process and selection of the first list is confirmed by the end of June.

Fees

The course fees for the entire program is approximately Rs. 4, 00,000 including a laptop and Wi-Fi connectivity for two years.
