Mount Carmel College (MCC) Bangalore

Mount Carmel College, Bangalore is women's college established in 1948. The institute focuses on women's education. It is an autonomous college affiliated with Bengaluru City University. It is a private unaided institute.

The college provides undergraduate and graduate programs across different disciplines. It offers 11 programs in Arts, 19 in Science and 8 in Commerce, Business Studies and Management. The college accommodates over 7,000 students. Faculty-student ratio is 1-2 with 42 PhD faculty members among total of 185.

The campus includes facilities like a library, auditoriums, sports amenities, laboratories, a cafeteria and a hostel. Also the college has a National Cadet Corps (NCC) and a National Service Scheme (NSS).

Mount Carmel College ranks among top colleges in India. According to India Today, it is one of top three colleges in Karnataka for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It ranks seventh overall according to India Today 2021.

In 2017, it signed an agreement with Binary University in Malaysia. There are recruiting partnerships with companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Amazon, Wipro, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Infosys.
