Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology (CSIT) Durg is situated in Chhattisgarh and established in 1999. CSIT is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University and is always AICTE recognized and accredited by NBA. The aim of the institute is to nurture intellectual growth by giving high quality education.

The institute is spread over 33 acres of eco friendly land. The college infrastructure provides all modern class facilities such as smart classes, laboratories, computer labs, provisional store, hostels, Nescafe, amphitheatre, yoga and meditation, campus bank, post office, sports ground, indoor sport, guest house, conference hall, transportation, and gym.

Hostel and Facilities

Chhatrapati Sivaji Institute of Technology

Hostel

There are 2 hostels for both boys and girls. Each of the hostels can accommodate 150 students. All rooms have basic furniture – study table, chair and bed and electrical fittings for the students to use their mechanical devices.

The hostellers are given round the clock access to the library and computer lab. There are recreation rooms with television, magazines, periodicals and newspapers for the students.

The hostels have power supply back up and 24 hours security is provided to the hostellers. There is Hostel warden assigned to each hostel for the management and student welfare. The institute has 2 in campus guesthouses.

The college has a well maintained playground, concrete basketball court, indoor badminton court and a dedicated space for yoga practice.
