Scholarships

UIT provides scholarships to its students based on merit, need and minority status. These scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Scholarships for Postgraduate Students

Scholarship by State Government to Meritorious Students:

Available for postgraduate students who have secured at least 75% marks in the qualifying examination.
Provided under the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme (SVMCM).
Amount: Rs. 5000 per month for two years.

Scholarship by Central Government to SC/ST/OBC Students:

For SC, ST, or OBC category students with a family income less than Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.
Given by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment or Ministry of Tribal Affairs under the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme.
Covers tuition fee, maintenance allowance, books allowance and other allowances.
