The University Institute of Technology, Burdwan (UIT Burdwan) is a university-managed institute. It is the only Government Engineering Public University in Burdwan District. UIT Burdwan was established in 2000 by the Burdwan University. Campus is in Golapbag (North), Burdwan.

UIT Burdwan provides undergraduate engineering courses (B.E.) in six specializations. It offers two postgraduate programs (M.E) in Computer Science Engineering and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.

The institute admits 60 students annually for each undergraduate course through WBJEE. For postgraduate courses it admits 18 students per course based on GATE scores.
