JBIMS stands for “Jamanalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies”, an institute that was established in the year of 1965 at Mumbai, Maharashtra. The institute was named after the popular Indian industrialist ‘Jamnalal Bajaj’.

The institute comes under the department of Management Studies in University of Mumbai. JBIMS offers programs like Full-time Master in Management Studies, Master in Finance, Part-time MBA and many more. All the programs are related to Management sector which makes it one the prestigious institution of Mumbai.

JBIMS Part Time MBA Features

• The part-time MBA at JBIMS began in the year of 1976 and it is mainly designed for the working professionals who are struggling to enhance their qualification level without leaving the current working schedule.
• The duration of the program is of 3 years. The program offers four different specializations.
• The classes will be organised from Monday to Sunday between 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

Application and Admission Procedure

Before applying for the Part-time MBA program at JBIMS all the aspirants are requested to read the information brochure.

All the candidates have to submit their application only through online mode. No offline application will be considered in any case. The interested candidates can apply on the official website of the institute.

JBIMS charges Rs. 1200 only as Application Fee for the part-time MBA program, and it should be paid online only through NEFT/ RTGS.

After that, the applicants are directed to send the payment details to ptmbafees@jbims.edu

While filling the online Application form the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of some essential documents, those are listed below:

1. Class 10^th Marks sheet
2. Class 12^th Mark sheet
3. Graduation Mark sheet
4. Work experience certificate which can be Appointment letter or any similar authentic document.

Selection Criteria

• The selection of the candidates is based on their performance in the selection test.
• All the eligible candidates will be called for a selection round which includes a Common Entrance Test (CET) and a Group Discussion (GD).
• Based on the overall performance of the candidate a Merit-list will be prepared.
• Candidates desirous of applying to multiple programs will have to apply separately and pay the requisite fees.

Common Entrance Test

The common Entrance Test will consist multiple choice objective type questions, and for each wrong answer will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks, 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0 marks will be awarded for the un-attempted questions.

The questions asked in Common Entrance Test will be based on the topics like Quantitative Ability, Comprehension, Logical Ability and General Knowledge.

Scholarships

The JBIMS institute facilitates the students with scholarship, to help those students who are belonging to the EWS category and meritorious. Scholarships will be provided to the students of SC/ ST/ GEN category who belong to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and batch toppers achieving Rank 1 of several programs. More details regarding the scholarships will be shared with the students after the commencement of their classes.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who want to apply for Part-time MBA at JBIMS are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria listed below:

• The candidates should be graduated from any University/ Institute recognised by UGC.
• Work experience of minimum 2 years (as of 15th June of the admission year) at Executive or Supervisory level is compulsory. It should be full-time work, the internships and other training should not be included.
• Self-employed candidates need to submit copies of last 3 years of Income Tax Returns along with registration details of the company or partnership deed. The name of the candidate should be clearly mentioned on these documents.

There is no upper age limit in applying for Part-time MBA.
