LIBA, Loyola Institute of Business Administration, is located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was was established in 1979 to offer programs in management stream. The institute offers PGDM, Ph.D., Certificate Programs, and Managerial Development Program in part-time as well as full-time mode.

LIBA is situated in the campus of Loyola College, Chennai and it is run by Loyola College Society.

LIBA Part Time MBA Details

• The part-time program offered at the Loyola Institute of Business Administration is of 3 years, divided into 6 terms and each term will be of 3 months.
• Classes are held on Saturdays from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 01:45 PM.
• The program covers a total of 34 courses, each of 3 credits, i.e. a total of 102 credits is to be completed in three years of duration.
• The program is fully based on the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) pattern.

Application and Admission Procedure

Application procedure

Interested candidates should visit the institute website https://admissions.liba.edu to access LIBA PGDM Weekend page.

After registration, the candidates have to fill some basic details.

While filling the details in the online application form the candidates are asked to upload the scanned copies some important documents, the list of such documents is mentioned below:

1. Passport size photograph
2. Work experience certificate which can be either joining letter or promotion letter.
3. Class 10th, 12th mark sheet
4. Graduation mark sheet
5. Aadhar card
6. Cast certificate if applicable

After filling and uploading all the details, the candidates are required to pay Rs. 900 for the application fee. The application fee can be paid through Debit/ Credit card, Net Banking, NEFT/ RTGS, etc.

Selection Procedure

• The selection of the candidate is only based on the performance in the Entrance examination and Personal Interview round.
• Candidate will be informed about the date and time of entrance exam and personal interview.
• Then, the list of the selected candidates will be displayed on the official website of LIBA and those candidates will be informed through Email or SMS for the further process.

LIBA Part Time MBA Fee Structure 2023-24

The total course fee for LIBA Part Time MBA in 2023-24 is Rs.6,63,500/- for the entire course. The fee needs to be paid in 9 installments of Rs.65,000 to Rs.83,000/-.

The institute also charges following fee extra

• An admission fee of Rs. 7500.
• And an addition Library charge and Retention charge of Rs. 4500 and Rs. 2500 respectively, will be charged and both the charges are refundable.

The students have to pay all the required fees either through Demand Draft or NEFT. The fee will not be refunded after the commencement of classes.

Scholarships Offered

The Loyola Institute of Business Administration offers scholarship to the meritorious students of each batch in every program. All the scholarships are awarded only on merit cum means basis.

Also, the LIBA will facilitate the process of obtaining an educational loan from the reputed banks if any candidate will ask for the same.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply to LIBA part time MBA program the candidate needs to satisfy following eligibility criteria:

• Graduation or any professional course equivalent to a bachelor degree from any recognised university or college with at least 50% of marks.
• The applicant should have full-time work experience of minimum 2 years in any Business/ Industry/ Government.
• The applicant should be employed during the time of applying for the part-time PGDM program.

There is no upper age limit in applying for the part-time PGDM program.
