The Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, came into existence in the year 2008, by Act No. 29 of 2008 enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh. It is a not-profit public higher education institution officially accredited and/or recognized by the University Grants Commission, India.
The university has 16 departments through which it provides undergraduate, postgraduate, research and career oriented and skill development courses.

Rayalaseema University is spread across over 16,000 sq. m of land with well-equipped computer Labs, seminar Rooms, classrooms, central Library and hostels for boys and girls.
The university has been granted an A Grade certification by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

How to apply:
Online Method: Candidates have to register themselves in the university’s official website by providing e-mail and mobile number. Afterwards candidates can log in the website using the credentials received on the mail provided.
The application form has to be filled in carefully and required documents have to be downloaded. An application fee of Rs. 600/- for general category or Rs. 400 for reserved category has to be paid online.

The admission is done based on score in entrance examination of the university named Rayalaseema University Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (RUPGCET). The admit cards will be available shortly before the examination from the official website. The examination will be conducted on 25th to27th May 2018.
