Bundelkhand University, Jhansi is a public state university established on 26^th August, 1975.The University is affiliated to UGC, AICTE, AIU, NAAC, IAU, ACU, BCI, and MCI. The university has a motto “Vidyaya Amritmashnute”.

The University Campus is spread over an area of 186 acres. There are over a 100 colleges that are affiliated to the Bundelkhand University that provide UG, PG, Doctorate courses in a number of streams.

The University recently setup an Innovation Center to Emphasize on the fields of research and development. It has the facilities of Hostels, Cafeteria, Shopping Centers, Health Centers, Sports Area, Gym and a lot more.

Application and Admission Procedure

Some of the programs offered by the University come under Direct Admission, while the rest fall under admissions based on Entrance Test.
Interested candidates can apply only through the online portal available in the college’s official website.

Candidates have to fill in the form, make online payment of Rs.700 (Direct admissions) or Rs.1100 (Entrance test based admissions). Upon making the payment, applicants have to take printout of the application form and the payment receipt and courier it to the below-mentioned address along with the academic certificate copies.

The University will then release the list of shortlisted candidates, falling under the Direct admission category.
The admit card for the Entrance test will be made available on the website and will also be e-mailed to the candidates. Under the MBA program, University select students based on their score in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE).

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The university campus is spread over a huge area. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There are 2 girl’s hostel and one boy’s hostel. The hostel rooms are spacious, well maintained, furnished and well equipped with all modern facilities like 24 hours electricity, hot and cold water supply in winter and summer time respectively, internet connection etc.

All the hostels have a common room with cable TV connection, telephone,Table tennis board, carom board etc. The hostel rooms are available on the twins sharing basis along with mess. The hostel mess serves good quality food and hygiene part is also be maintained. Moreover, there is a well-equipped gym, swimming pool, different labs and library.

Besides the several indoor game facilities this university also has some outdoor sports facilities such as badminton, basketball, tennis, volleyball courts etc. The hostel security is very tight here.

This university provides scholarships to economically underprivileged students. The SC/ST/OBC students can get special scholarships.
