Scholarships

Merit cum Means Scholarship:

Applicable to: Undergraduate, postgraduate, LLB and professional courses students of Allahabad University who have secured 60% or above marks in the examination of session 2022-23.
Expenses covered: Scholarship amount of Rs 5000/-.

Endowment Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students who have secured admission in any course of Allahabad University through entrance test or merit list.
Expenses covered: Varies from Rs 2500/- to Rs 10000/- per annum depending on the course and the donor.

UGC Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students who have qualified NET exam.
Expenses covered: Rs 12000/- for JRF and Rs 14000/- for SRF plus 15% HRA and contingency grant.

CSIR Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students who have qualified NET exam in science stream.

Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship:

Applicable to: Meritorious students selected by the department.

Social Status Scholarship:

Applicable to: Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority/EWS categories who have applied through the government portal.
Expenses covered: Depends on the course fee and the income of the parents .

Besides the scholarships listed above, there are scholarships instituted by individuals or organizations for specific courses or categories of students, such as the Ms. Agatha Harrison Memorial Fellowship for history students and the Dr. R.C. Dutt Memorial Scholarship for economics students.
