Nehru Gram Bharti University in Allahabad was established in the year 1996 by Shri G.D Memorial Trust. Its foundation stone was laid by Late Pt.Jawahar Lal Nehru. Its mission is to be a global, socially conscious and integrated university.

The ‘deemed to be university’ has been accredited by a “B” grade by the NAAC evaluation. It is an UGC recognised university.

The university offers a wide range of UG and PG courses in the fields of arts, science, language and computers. Other than the regular UG and PG courses, the university also offers diploma and certificate programs. Below is a list of few of them-

Admission into the University for most of the courses offered is through entrance test and direct interview which is conducted by the university. Though candidates can take admission for selective courses based on merit too.

How to submit the application form?

Online mode: Candidates who want to apply for admission have to visit the official website of the university. Firstly, they have to do the registration then they have to fill the application form in which they have to fill their personal and academic details carefully. Secondly, they have to upload the scanned copy of important documents and then lastly, they have to pay the application fees.

Offline mode: Candidates who want to fill the form offline they have to collect the form from the university. Then they have to fill the form carefully have to submit the form along with the attested copy of important documents and demand draft to the university.

Hostel:

The Nehru Gram Bharati University is situated in Allahabad and surrounded by a beautiful landscape It covers a large area of 60 acres and it is far away from city hustle and bustle. This university has a separate hostel for boys as well as for girls. All the hostel rooms are spacious, airy, furnished and with all modern facilities like 24 hours electric supply, water supply, internet accessibility etc. Besides that each floor of the hostel has a common toilet which is well maintained and clean. Each hostel has own mess which serves fresh and good food to its students. Moreover, every hostel has a common area which has cable TV connection and various indoor sports facilities such as table tennis, carom chess etc. The security system is very strict here. The warden is the in charge of hostel administration and discipline.

Other Facilities:

This university provides many outdoor sports facilities like volleyball courts, tennis courts, badminton court, football ground, cricket ground etc. There is also a well-equipped gym, library, and a yoga room. It also provides medical services to its students Moreover, it has tied up with various renowned city hospitals,and students can go there in case of an emergency. All the hostels are well connected through its own bus services. Apart from these, different labs are there for different subjects like chemistry, physics, computer lab etc. and all labs are well organized.
