Scholarships

Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India-BRNS Scholarship:

Applicable to students pursuing M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry with specialization in Nuclear Science or Technology.
Eligibility: Students must qualify a written test or interview conducted by the university or the agency.

Women Scientist Fellowships (WOS-DST):

For women scientists who have a career break and want to pursue research in science and engineering.
Fellowship amount ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month based on qualification and experience.

Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship:

For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students pursuing M.Phil. or Ph.D. in any discipline.
Fellowship amount: Rs. 16,000 per month for M.Phil., Rs. 18,000 per month for Ph.D. (two years).

Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) Fellowship:

For students pursuing M.Phil. or Ph.D. in social sciences.
Fellowship amount: Rs. 10,000 per month for M.Phil., Rs. 16,000 per month for Ph.D. (two years).

Nehru Gram Bharati University, Allahabad provides hostel facilities for its students. The hostel rooms are equipped with facilities like 24 hours electric supply, water supply and internet accessibility. Each floor of the hostel has a common toilet which is well maintained and clean.

The hostel fee for female students is Rs.60,000 per year. This fee includes food and lodging.

Other facilities available in the hostel include a medical center within the hostel.
