Scholarships

Merit-based Scholarship (Based on Qualifying Exam):

Students scoring 95% and above receive a 40% tuition fee waiver.
Students scoring 90% to 94.99% receive a 30% tuition fee waiver.
Students scoring 85.00% to 89.99% receive a 20% tuition fee waiver.
For girl students, there is a 5% relaxation in marks at each level.

Need-based Scholarship:

Given to students from poor families or facing financial difficulties.
The scholarship amount is decided on a case-by-case basis after verifying income certificates and other documents.

International Scholarship:

Offered to international students who wish to study at Mangalayatan University.
Up to 50% tuition fee waiver, based on performance in the qualifying exams.
Students must send their transcripts/certificates for verification and calculation of the scholarship amount.

Mangalayatan University, Aligarh, provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel houses more than 600 students. The hostel premises have separate accommodations for boys and girls. The hostel offers single, double and triple sharing room occupancy at varying rates.

Hostel Fee Details

Two Seater (Non AC)- INR 44,000 per year
Three Seater (Non AC)- INR 36,000 per year
Two Seater (AC)- INR 84,000 per year
Three Seater (AC)- INR 60,000 per year

Additional charges include-

Mess charges- INR 36,000 per annum
Hostel Security- INR 5,000 in the first year of the course (refundable on vacating the hostel on successful completion of course)

The hostel also provides other facilities such as a gymnasium, table tennis set in the common area, a separate television room and lounge that is fully Wi-Fi enabled. It also has exclusive amenities such as a grocery shop, salon and laundry facilities on one floor. A dispensary with doctors available 24/7 and round-the-clock ambulance services are also provided.
