Fee Structure of Ahmedabad University

The scholarships cover partial or full tuition fees for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

• 80% of students receive support from Ahmedabad University
• In case a student qualifies for both academic and need-based scholarships, the academic scholarship will be awarded first and the need-based scholarship will include the balance (if any).

Ahmedabad University provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The residences are overseen by a dedicated Office of Student Housing and Residential Life. The university has onsite Residence Managers/Wardens to address any concerns that students might have. All residences are under strict security monitoring.

The hostel fee structure is as follows-

• Single Occupancy Rooms- INR 2,21,490/- annually
• Twin Sharing Rooms- INR 1,93,980/- annually
• Triple Sharing Rooms- INR 1,70,130/- annually

These fees include the following amenities-

• Choice of twin or triple sharing rooms
• Every student has a single bed with a mattress, a wardrobe, a writing table, a chair and a bed linen set
• Some of the residences have a very limited number of single occupancy rooms

Additional charges for participating in the Independent Study Period, Summer Semester, Career Development Services and other additional services/offerings are to be collected separately which are not refundable.

The hostels are within close proximity of the campus. Transport facility to and from the campus at specified timings is provided for some of the residences on a need basis.
