Ganga Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) was established in 2008. . This Institute is duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak & HSBTE, Panchkula, Haryana.

It offers various Engineering and Management courses viz. B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry), M.Tech , BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA and Diploma courses. B.Tech in Fire Technology & Safety and M.Tech in Cyber Forensic and Information Security are unique courses offered by the institute.

The campus is spread over 18 acres of lush green land situated on Bahadurgarh-Jhajjar Road (NCR, Delhi). The institute offers several in campus facilities like library, auditorium, transportation etc. The institute has collaborated with IIT Delhi for Virtual Labs and with IIT Mumbai for Audio –Visual Projects and Spoken Tutorials. National and International conference is a bi-annual feature.

The institute also boasts of international students particularly from Nigeria, Nepal, Afghanistan, Dubai, Bangladesh.

106 companies have tied up with the institute for Training & Placement and around 80 companies have visited the campus for placement recently.

Students are provided scholarship assistance for various Govt. schemes for SC/ ST/ OBC/MINORITY/PMSSS for J&K students.

Cutoff and Placements

Ganga Institute of Technology and Management has its fully functional Training and Placement Cell which helps students with professional advancement.

A total of 270 students were recruited last year Sanaatan Group, Yes Bank, Cinif Technologies and a number of others. More than 150 companies keep visiting the campus for recruitment programmes.

Placement procedure

STEP 1: Each department provides training to students in accordance with its further usage in industries. For instance the B.Tech in Fire Technology and Safety can safeguard students a position as Fire Officer, Divisional Officer, NDRF team etc in private, public and government sectors.

STEP 2: Pre-placement training including Written tests, GDs and PIs are conducted as part of the curriculum.

STEP 3: Companies are invited and on/off campus recruitment drives are initiated through job fairs.

Application and Admission Procedure

How to apply?

Students can apply only through online mode. Applicants have to go to the official website of the institute and register themselves on the Admissions Portal. After filling in the personal details, they have to upload relevant documents in order to complete their application.

• 10+2 Mark sheet
• For PG courses degree from recognized college Semester Mark sheets
• For MBA courses documents with the score obtained in any National level Entrance exam for Management approved by AICTE
• Passport size photograph
• Signature

Admission Procedure

Admission to UG courses is based on the performance in class 10+2 qualifying exam. There is no entrance exam conducted by the institute. After shortlisting candidates, personal interviews and group discussions are conducted.

Admission to PG courses is based on marks obtained in Bachelor’s course from any recognized college.

Admission to MBA courses depends on the score obtained in any National level exam- CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT.
