Krishna Institute Of Engineering And Technology (KIET) Ghaziabad

The Krishna Institute Of Engineering and Technology (KIET) is located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1998 by Krishna Charitable Society. It started with just 180 students. Currently over 7500 students are enrolled.

KIET is a private institute. It has approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. Institute holds 'A+' grade accreditation from NAAC. It is also recognized by NBA and SIRO.

KIET offers 11 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate programs. These programs focus on engineering, management studies, IT & software and pharmacy. BTech program is flagship course. UPTAC counseling fills 85% of BTech seats. Rest 15% are filled through direct admissions.

Alumni network includes over 20,000 individuals.

KIET accepts scores from many entrance tests. For BTech it conducts UPTAC counseling. For BPharm, MBA and MCA, CUET Counseling fills 85% of seats. MTech and MPharm admissions occur through counseling by AKTU or GATE/GPAT scores.

KIET has received an 'A+' grade from NAAC. Its programs are accredited by NBA. In NIRF 2023 it ranked 88th in Pharmacy category. In the engineering category it falls within the 151-200 rank band. It also ranks within 51-100 band for innovation.

Placements - In 2023 KIET recorded a placement rate of 91.53%. Highest CTC was INR 48.89 LPA. Average CTC stood at INR 6.51 LPA. More than 370 companies, including major firms like Microsoft, Amazon and Infosys, participated in campus recruitment.
