Fee Structure of Muthoot Institute Of Technology And Science (MITS) , Ernakulam

1. Merit-based scholarships:

• Applicable to students who score high marks in their qualifying examinations.
• For example, candidates scoring 90% aggregate or more in 10+2 (CBSE/ISC Board) pay only INR 35,000 fees during admission. The amount increases with a decrease in the percentage of a student in 10+2.

1. Need-based scholarships:

• Given to economically weaker students.
• Candidates belonging to specific categories in the management quota are eligible for scholarships amounting to the difference between actual tuition & special fees for government quota and category 1,2,3 tuition & special fees.

1. Course-wise scholarships:

• Offered to students pursuing specific B.Tech and M.Tech courses.
• Scholarships available for B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering.

Eligibility criteria:

• Scholarships are available to both those with admission through merit or management quota.
• Minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by the scholarship scheme.
• Submission of required documents (income certificate, caste certificate, mark sheets) to prove eligibility.
• Maintenance of minimum attendance and academic performance throughout the course duration.
