The institute was established in the year 1978 by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the apex cooperative institutions which was established as an identity of a premier management institute for the apsirants. The institute serves as a locus of management edcuation, computer training and research for the aspirants with the aim of providing excellent education to the students in the fields of engieering and technology. It has been approved and accredited by AICTE.
The campus is located along the main Ring Road in Indira Nagar, which is about 12 kms. It is well connected via the public transport. It is one of the leading mangement institutes in this field. The campus is spread across 9420 sq. m. of lush greenery and is big integrated hub with a blend of architectural innovations, fucntional convenience and well built interiors. There are multi storied separate academic and administrative hostel buildings and blocks for the students.

Admission: Admission through Counselling process of State Entrance Examination conducted AKTU i.e., UPSEE-MBA
Fee- The fee is around 1 Lakh. It can be paid in two instalments (1st year and 2nd Year).
Research Programmes
The institute has so far carried out 67 prestigious research projects, and 7 new projects have been awarded in 2015 out of which 5 have been submitted and 2 are in progress. The Projects have been sponsored by Government and institutions and carried out by Institute’s Faculty.
Hostel and Facilities
Hostel
The institute has a campus spread overran area of 9420 square meter. Multi-storeyed separate academic, administrative and hostel buildings are major attractions. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. The hostels are fully furnished with all modern facilities like safe and clean drinking water.
Power generation sets etc. Bed, wardrobe, mattress and study tables are provided to all the residents of the hostel. Current hostel fee is Rs 65000 per year including the mess charges.
Other Facilities
Computer labs are fully equipped with all modern hardware and software resources. The labs are Wi-Fi enabled. All labs are also equipped with LCD for the students to deliver presentations. The college has a good library with books on all subjects. About 14367 books are present in the library.
All the classrooms are well maintained with LCD projectors, overhead projectors and digital cameras. The college also has a spacious auditorium for hosting various expert events and talks.

Eligibility
To pursue MBA at ICCMRT students must satisfy following eligibility criteria.
The minimum qualification to apply for admission to the MBA Program is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 years of education) in any discipline which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or any degree equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary / Higher Secondary / Pre-degree Examinations (or equivalent) conducted by a Board / University.
Those appearing for the final year of the Bachelor's degree examinations may also apply subject to completing their examinations or viva-voce, if any, before June 30. Such candidates will however have to fulfil the above eligibility requirements in respect of minimum academic qualifications for admission and furnish evidence to that effect latest by October 31. At the time of interview and/or admissions, they will be required to produce a letter from their College Principal / Head of Institution stating the exam dates.
Candidates with appropriate industry experience will be given preference for admissions. Their work experience will be given due weightage in terms of the organization, position held and duration.
Admission Procedure
Selected candidates will be called to attend Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Multiple Group Discussion & Personal Interview lists will be released in phases, both before and after the Application Deadline. The intimation for interview & group discussion is done through registered post and e-mail. In the case of some programs, Group Discussion may not be conducted, in favor of a rigorous interview process.
The selection criteria for calling candidates for admissions is based on multiple factors as follows:
- Past academic performance
- Quality & content of the answers in the application form
- Work experience, if any , in terms of job content & organization
- Group Discussion & Interview performance (applicable for final admissions only)
- Extra curricular activities, other interests & accomplishments
- Competitive Test score (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT)
A combination of all the above factors are used to determine the eligibility of candidates to be offered final admission. Test scores are NOT the only criteria for selection.
A high test score does not guarantee a call for Group Discussion/Interview. The selection criteria are based on multiple factors as mentioned above.
