Hindusthan College Of Engineering And Technology (HCET) Coimbatore

Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology (HiCET) is a private engineering institute located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2000.

HiCET offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Undergraduate degrees include BE and B.Tech in different fields like Chemical Engineering, Food Technology and Artificial Intelligence. The postgraduate programs consist of M.E., MBA and MCA across different specializations. Approximately 5000 students are enrolled. More than 400 qualified faculty members mentor the students.

HiCET is autonomous and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has received 'A' Grade accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Admission for BE/B.Tech programs is based on TNEA scores. For ME/M.Tech and MBA/MCA TANCET scores are accepted.

The college ranked 37th among top engineering institutes in South India and 156th in India by India Today in 2021. HiCET has signed 18 MoUs with many organizations for academic partnerships. The Training & Placement Cell reports a 92% placement rate for on-campus and 75% for off-campus placements.

Facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, a comprehensive library, sports facilities, medical support, IT infrastructure, cafeteria and Wi-Fi connectivity.
