Vimala College Thrissur, a first grade residential women's college under the CMC Management was established in 1967 following bifurcation from St.Mary's College Thrissur. The college has completed four decades of committed service to the field of education. Besides 16 graduate and 13 post graduate courses,3 Research Centres and one PG diploma. Dr. Sr.Maries.V.L is the Principal of the institution. Dr. Sr. Omer, the provincial of the CMC Congregation is the Manager of the institution. Currently there is sanctioned student strength of 2546 students, a team of 84 Permanent faculties, 39 Guest faculties and 36 non teaching staff. The college has made remarkable strides in curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities. The infrastructure and educational resources have been consistently expanded to meet the growing academic requirements. The use of technology in administration, education and learning resources has enhanced the quality of the teaching-learning process.
