or CIPET is a government institution established in the year 1968 by government of India with the assistance of United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in Chennai.

The college has centers in almost 29 other cities as well across India. The university was considered as one of the most successful projects of the UNDP.

College offers undergraduate, post graduate, Ph.D. programs , diploma and vocational programs. Some of the popular courses are-

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The college offers two separate hostel residences for its male and female students. Rooms of the hostels are big, spacious and have furniture and two students have to share one room with each other.

Campus facility

Facilities provided by the CIPET institute include conference halls, video conference hall, cafeteria, auditorium, library, digital libraries, sports facilities, tool room, placement cell, student’s grievance cell, and hostels etc.

CIPET motivates students to do their best not just in academics but also beyond academics that is in extracurricular activities. The institute offers many activity platforms for students such as art and culture events, indoor games competition and outdoor sports tournament in which students can perform and show their skills.
