The Burdwan Institute of Management and Computer Science (BIMS) is located in Bardhaman. It was established in 2000. The institute is managed by the Oriental Association for Education and Research. BIMS is on a 40-acre campus.

BIMS has a permanent affiliation with The University of Burdwan. It offers full-time Honors courses in BBA, BCA, BSc Biotechnology and BSc Biochemistry.
