Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, also known as SKASC Coimbatore, was established in 1997 by V.L.B. Trust. It is an ISO Certified and Co-educational Institution. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research program courses.Highly qualified, dedicated faculty who do not compromise the standards bring accolades to this institution.They are to be specially mentioned for student’s achievements in bagging University ranks It is well located in Sugunapuram which is just next to the national highway No. 47, the campus covers 15 acres of area.

Establishment

With the noble intention of carrying the torch of standard education to people, particularly to those living in the rural areas indeed promoting higher education, the V.L.B. Trust was founded by the esteemed industrialist and philanthropist late Sri. V. L. Balakrishna Naidu in the year 1980. The V.L.B. Trust has carved for itself a name in the field of higher learning in the city of Coimbatore and has been in spectacular and enviable service for nearly two decades. Sri Krishna Arts and Science College was established by the Trust in 1997 and it is an ISO certified co-educational institution catering to the need of the day.

• After assessing the quality of education and infrastructure of the college. NAAC has awarded 'A' Grade in the year 2009.

• All activities and processes of college are standardized and systemized as per ISO 9001:2008 Standards and certified by TUV SUD who conducts the external audit once a year for continual improvement of quality systems in the college.
