Scholarships

Kerala State Higher Education Council Scholarship:

Applicable to post-graduate students in Science, Humanities and Social Sciences.
Monthly scholarship rates are Rs. 8,000/- within the state and Rs. 10,000/- for internships outside the state.
Distribution of grants: 2:3:5 for P.G., M.Phil and Ph.D. courses respectively.

Central Sector Scholarship Scheme:

For economically weaker undergraduate students with over 80% marks in qualifying exams.
Annual income of parents should not exceed Rs. 6 lakhs.
Scholarship amount: Rs. 10,000/- per annum for the first three years and Rs. 20,000/- per annum for the fourth and fifth year.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme:

For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) pursuing post-matriculation courses.
Annual income limit: Rs. 2.5 lakhs for SC students and Rs. 2 lakhs for ST students.
Scholarship amount varies based on course and hostel status.

Merit Scholarship Scheme:

Awarded to students with over 50% marks in previous exams.
Parents' annual income should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
Amount: Rs. 1,250/- per annum for graduate students and Rs. 1,500/- per annum for post-graduate students.

Endowment Prizes and Scholarships:

Students receive financial support from the Students Aid Fund annually.
