Sri Shakthi Institute Of Engineering And Technology (SIET) Coimbatore

Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology is an autonomous engineering college in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2006 by Dr. S. Thangavelu. The campus covers 30 acres.

It is a private unaided institute affiliated with Anna University. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different engineering disciplines. These include Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Interdisciplinary courses like Agricultural Engineering and Biotechnology are also available.

The student body consists of approximately 3,500.

Campus features advanced laboratories and high-speed WiFi with 500 Mbps connectivity. It also includes more than 15 Centres of Excellence and operates on a solar energy system with a capacity of 300 kW.

For admissions the institute accepts the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) score.

The institute has approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It holds an "A" grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accreditation for four programs.

In terms of rankings institute was ranked 48th for B.Tech by Times of India in 2021. It placed 6th for placements according to Anna University in 2019.

The institute reported 100% placements for the last five years. Highest salary package offered was INR 11 LPA.
