Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr.Rangarajan Dr.Sakunthala Engineering College is in Morai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is a private engineering institute established in 1999. The college is autonomous and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Undergraduate programs include BE and BTech degrees. Postgraduate programs offer ME degrees. The institute has many departments like Biomedical Engineering (BME), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Information Technology (IT) and Mechanical Engineering (MECH).The college maintains a faculty-student ratio of 1-15. 

It has seven undergraduate programs and five postgraduate degrees. Admissions are based on entrance exams like TNEA, TANCET and GATE.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited college with 'A' Grade and a score of 3.49 out of 4. The departments of BME, CSE, ECE, EEE, IT and MECH are also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

The institute provides many facilities like hostels, a library, sports and transportation.

College ranks among top 200 institutes in NIRF India Ranking for three consecutive years. According to NIRF 2023 it ranked 105 out of 131 in engineering categories.

The college has collaborations with foreign universities, industries and research institutes. It has memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with approximately 57 public sector and research institutes 12 international organizations and 27 multinational corporations.

Placement s- In the NIRF 2023 report 333 out of 361 undergraduate students secured placements. 

Placements - Undergraduate students had a median package of INR 4.5 LPA while postgraduate students had a median package of INR 5.5 LPA.
