Arya Vidyapeeth College Guwahati was established in 1958. The college is affiliated with Gauhati University. In 2022 it received the status of an Autonomous college from the University Grants Commission.

Arya Vidyapeeth College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Major courses are available in 19 subjects at the undergraduate level.
