Kings Engineering College has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. They have the total strength of more than 1600 students and faculty more than 150 teaching and other non-teaching staff.
Their aim is to provide industry relevant technical education, motivate technocrats to carry out skilful research and encourage innovation and thereby uplift our society through technology.
The institute has been comprised of various facilities which include library resource centre, reprography, student housing services, college mess, power supply, medical aid centre, departmental stores and many more.
Students interested to take admission should have passed the 10+2 examination and obtain minimum marks as 50% for OC, 45% for BC, 40% for MBC/DNC and 40% for SC/ST.
The training and placement cell provides relevant support and guidance for the students towards attaining their career goal sample. Importance is given for soft skill development which complements the regular academic programmes.
