Murugappa Polytechnic College Tiruvallur

Murugappa Polytechnic College (MPC) is a government-aided institute in Avadi, Chennai. It was established in August 1957. College is located on a 12.5 hectares campus.

MPC offers 12 diploma courses in many engineering disciplines. Courses include Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering. The college provides both full-time and part-time diploma programs. Full-time courses are categorized into self-financed and aided courses.

The institute is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MPC is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
