Dhirajlal Gandhi College Of Technology Salem

Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology is a private institute established in 1986 under the affiliation of Anna University. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

The institute has 6 undergraduate courses and 4 Postgraduate courses and 1 Ph.D course.

DGCET, Tamil Nadu is located in Sikanampatty, Salem and is spread across 10 acres of land with well-equipped labs, computer centres, conference halls, auditorium, gyms, staff quarters, hostels, medical and sports facilities, and is provided with high speed Wi-Fi in the campus. The institute also has special facilities for physically challenged students.

In addition to this, the college also organises various cells and clubs like Entrepreneurship cell, Women empowerment cell, Fine arts club, Math club, trekking club, Yoga club and Jubilant-English club.

The admission for UG and PG is on the basis of merit marks obtained in 12^th class and bachelor’s degree respectively.

Hostel and Facilities

Dhiraj Lal Gandhi College of Technology is situated on Salem- Bangalore high way and it covers a huge area of 10 acres. The college campus is surrounded by green landscape.

Hostel

The engineering college provides separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls students. The hostels are well furnished and along with all modern amenities such as round the clock electricity, water, etc.

All rooms are airy and spacious enough to accommodate 2/4 students. The double and four occupancy rooms are given to the students. The hostel kitchens are clean, hygienic and well equipped with modern facilities. The kitchen has spacious dining halls where a large number of students can sit, have their food and inter chance their thoughts.

Besides that, there is a recreational room in each hostel. In recreational room students can play many indoor games like table tennis, shuttle etc and they can do other recreational activities there.

Campus Facilities

The technical institute has a cafeteria, auditorium, library and departs wise labs, seminar halls. Apart from that The college provides various outdoor sports facilities etc.

The classrooms are spacious and well equipped with all modern facilities. The whole campus is WiFi enabled. Moreover, it has some dedicated faculty members.
