The Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology (SSIET) is a private self-financing engineering institute. It is located in Chembarambakkam, Chennai. The institute was established on 9th September 1999. SSIET is unaided and private.

Campus occupies 10.06 acres. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) have accredited SSIET.
