Hewett Polytechnic is a government-aided institute located in Lucknow, UP. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approves it. It is affiliated with Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education in Lucknow. Institute began in Gorakhpur in 1904 and moved to Lucknow in 1908.

Hewett Polytechnic offers four engineering courses- Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Information Technology. It also provides PG Diploma courses. The intake capacity is 60 students in each branch.

The institute includes facilities like a cafeteria, library, IT infrastructure, laboratories, sports facilities, an auditorium and first aid services. There are no hostel facilities available.

Admission is based on merit of candidates in UPJEE exam.
