NIEC is a private engineering college based in New Delhi. It was established in 2003 and is affiliated to Affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. It has also been approved by NAAC and AICTE.

The college is located in Shastri Park, Delhi. The campus is approximately 9 acres. It has on campus facilities such as fully air-confditioned Computer labs with dedicated leased line connections, A massive Central Library with a collection of over 90000 books.

The college offers the programmes such as B.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Tech(Lateral).

The institution also has a buzzing placement scene with recruiters such as Infosys, TCS, Accenture, IBM, Genpact holding placement drives.

NIEC is an institutional member of IEEE, IIT Delhi CSE and IT department, IIM Lucknow CSI and the Confederation of Indian Industry. It has cultivated associations with ASSOCHAM (UP), AIMA/ LMA, CDRI and international universities

NIEC also gives impetus on industrial training and workshops with Six-Week in house traing organised by HP, CMC Ltd, Prolific Systems, CAD Solutions, Purple Leap, CAD Zone etc.

Besides the college has a Nationalised Bank branch, a beautiful and spacious on campus canteen, departmental labs like DSR, VHDL, Round the clock Medical Services and OPD facilities to tackle any emergency.

HOSTEL AND FACILITIES

Located in New Delhi, Northern India Engineering College, is slightly under developed when it comes to providing facilities to the students. The college is not very old and the infrastructure is not up to the mark yet. The college does not provide hostel facility to the students and the students are required to reside either in a PG or any rented room. The college does not provide any paid or unpaid accommodation.

The campus is environment-friendly with lush green trees and plants. Canteen has the necessary infrastructure and a modern kitchen.

The college has a well maintained library. The library has a good collection of national and international journals.

The classrooms are well equipped with projector screens and desks. A spacious auditorium to hold various expert talks and seminars is also present in the campus. Extensive courts and fields are also present for sports enthusiasts.

The college does not provide transportation facilities to the students. Students coming from far away area need to travel by public transport.
