Northern India Engineering College (NIEC) Delhi

Northern India Engineering College (NIEC) is a private engineering institute in New Delhi. It was renamed as Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute of Technology and Management (ADGITM). It was established in 2003 by the Babu Banarasi Das Educational Society, Lucknow. The campus covers about 9 acres. 

The institute is unaided and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Institute provides programs in different specializations of BTech The specializations include Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical & Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Applied Science and Humanities. B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering is flagship program.

NIEC has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Bar Council of India (BCI). It is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) in New Delhi. National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited it. Institute is also ISO 9001-2008 and ENISO 14001-2004 certified.

Admission occurs through exams like IPU-CET, JEE-MAINS, CAT, MAT and XAT. The institute offers modern facilities, including air-conditioned computer labs, a central library with over 86,000 books and specialized labs.

In terms of placements over 850 offers were made to 2019-20 batch. Highest package was 44.15 LPA provided by Amazon to a Computer Science student.
