The Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology (PRIST) is a private deemed university situated in Thanjavur. It was established in 1985 by Prof. P Murugesan.

PRIST offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in multiple fields. These include Engineering, Science, Education, Management, Arts and Law. Popular courses include BTech, BArch, BCom, MTech, MCA, MBA and MA.
