Arunai Engieering College Tiruvannamalai

Arunai Engineering College is a private college located in Thiruvannaamalai, Tamil Nadu, India. AEC was founded in 1993 by Thiru E. V. Velu, on behalf of the Saraswathi Ammal Educational Trust.

The college is affiliated to Anna University and has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and NAAC. It has been approved by the AICTE. The AEC was established in 1993. AEC is also an ISO 9001: 2008 Certified Institution.

The AEC offers the following programmes –

• B.E in Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
• M.E in CAD/CAM, Applied Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, Thermal Engineering, Network Engineering,
• MCA

Hostel and Facilities

Arunai Engineering College has 5 hostels. The hostels are guided by warden and residential tutors take care of the academics of the students living in the hostel.

There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls; the hostel has been named Mother Theresa Women’s Hostel, where safety and security is the first priority.

There are 4 more hostels in the campus, namely:

• The First year’s hostel (kalaingnar Mens Hostel)
• The Second year students are housed at Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Hostel
• The Third year students at the New Men’s Hostel
• The Final year students at Thanthai Periyar Hostel

The hostel rooms are very spacious and well furnished. The environment in the hostel is quite homely and the environment is suitable for student’s growth.

The hostel food has varieties and the students are served healthy food. There are kitchens equipped with all the modern facilities, and dining facilities are also available for the hostellers.

The college provides transportation facility to its students, bus services has been started by the institute which leaves from specific places at a certain time interval.
