The Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology (CIET) is a private engineering college in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2001. Campus covers 26.5 acres.

CIET is an autonomous institute affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approves it. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited CIET with an 'A' grade.

Institute offers seven undergraduate courses and three postgraduate courses. Undergraduate programs include BE and BTech Postgraduate programs comprise M.E., M.Tech and MBA. BE and BTech programs last four years. M.E. M.Tech and MBA programs are two years in duration.

For admissions CIET accepts many entrance exams. TNEA is for BE and BTech GATE is for ME and MTech Admission for MBA relies on a merit list.
