Kln College Of Engineering (KLNCE) Sivaganga

KLN College of Engineering is located in Pottapalayam, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1994 and it was first self-financing co-educational engineering college in Madurai. The institute is a private unaided college and has gained autonomous status. 

Campus covers 53.8 acres and includes modern classrooms and laboratories. It is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE.

The college offers different programs. These include undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and certificate courses. At the undergraduate level it provides seven specializations. At postgraduate level it offers seven streams. College also offers PhD programs in four streams. Popular courses include BE in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech in Information Technology and B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

The student population is 1,800+ with a faculty count of 160+. The college has many facilities, like a library, sports facilities, medical facilities and a cafeteria. It also provides hostel accommodation for males and females.

For admissions the college accepts TNEA scores for B.E/BTech For ME/MTech and MBA/MCA it recognizes CEETA PG and TANCET scores. College is accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade. It is also approved by UGC and has NBA accreditation for specific courses.

In the 2017 NIRF ranking KLN College of Engineering held the 55th position. It has been classified in Band B by ARIIA.
