The college was established specially for the people with low income background and rural population by Shri Jagannath educational Health and charitable trust.

Concentrating on demands in technical field the college was established in the year 2009 in the serene beauty of Western Ghats, lush green campus and eco-friendly environment so that the students may get an opportunity to grow not only in career but also as an individual.

The campus is divided among 9 departments the names for which are as follows:

• Automobile engineering
• Civil engineering
• Computer science and engineering
• Electronics and communication engineering
• Food technology
• Mechanical engineering
• Petrochemical engineering
• Petroleum engineering
• Electrical and electronics engineering

The college also offers various infrastructural facilities to its students such as library, computer labs, well equipped classrooms, cafeteria etc.

The college also organises timely industrial visits for the students in order to impart practical knowledge.

Hostel and Facilities

HOSTEL

Separate hostel facilities are provided for girls and boys. Around 300 boys and 450 girls can be accommodated at a time in the hostels. The rooms allotted are spacious and furnished.

Resident wardens and guards are assigned to each hostel for safety and guidance. The hostels are completely Wi-Fi enabled, has sports facility, T.V and common halls etc.

Other facilities provided at the hostel are as follows:

• 24 hours running fresh water supply
• Hygienic mess offering veg an non-veg both
• Medical facility provided round the clock
• General amenities store available

CAMPUS FACILITIES

Scholarships are provided by the government to the students of reserved category. The college campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled, has an auditorium and seminar hall.
