Mg Polytechnic, Hathras Mahamaya Nagar

MG Polytechnic, Hathras is located in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. It is a government-aided institute established in 1955. Campus covers an area of 50 acres. 

The institute focuses on providing technical education. It is affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. Institute offers eight diploma courses in different engineering fields. These include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Agriculture Engineering. All courses have approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Total student count at the institute is around 2,000. The institute has different facilities, like a computer center, library, sports facilities and hostels. The computer center provides networking and internet access. The library is automated and includes traditional and online resources. 

Candidates must have a valid JEECUP score for admission. JEECUP is a state-level entrance examination in Uttar Pradesh. The institute has received AICTE approval. There is no information regarding its accreditation from NIRF, NAAC, UGC, Bar Council of India, MCI or international collaborations.

MG Polytechnic has a placement cell that helps students with job opportunities. Various companies, including PIE Infocomm Pvt. Ltd, Eicher, TATA, Indian Oil, L&T and Jaypee Cement, participate in placement process.
