Rohini College Of Engineering And Technology Kanyakumari

Rohini College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) is an ISO certified private institute located in Variyoor, Kanyakumari. It was established in 2012 by Shri. K. Neela Marthandan.

RCET is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The college offers undergraduate postgraduate and doctoral research courses in engineering and management. Popular courses include a 4-year Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in 6 specializations, a 2-year Master of Engineering (ME) in 4 specializations, an MBA in 7 specializations and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.

As of now over 2600 students are enrolled with around 150 faculty members. The institute has an alumni network exceeding 3500 individuals.

RCET has well-equipped laboratories, air-conditioned facilities, smart classrooms, a library, a health center, a fitness center, guest accommodation, student housing and dining services. 

Admissions occur through Tamil Nadu Government Counseling Quota and Management quota. No specific entrance exam is required except for M.Tech admissions requiring TANCET/GATE scores.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited college with an 'A+' grade. RCET also holds ISO 9001-2015 certification.

College maintains MoUs with different organizations. Over 40 companies took part in recruitment process resulting in 487 placements. The average salary package offered was Rs. 4.60 lakhs per annum.
