Founded in 2009, the college is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute and is AICTE approved. It is affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

The college provides B. Tech courses in the departments of –Mechanical engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering and Civil engineering. Admission to the B. Tech courses is dependent upon the class XII marks in the relevant subjects.

M. Tech courses are offered in- Power system and Environmental engineering and management.

College facilities

The college provides various facilities to its students namely- Hostels for both boys and girls with necessary amenities and under the administration of very dedicated caring wardens, central computer facility, a central library with photocopying facilities, counselling center, canteen, college store for books stationery and uniforms, workshops, sick room and a multi gymnasium.

The college has an experienced training and placement cell through which students have been placed with the following companies- Kshema Power, Tech Mahindra, UST Global and Sutherland Global Services.

Campus life

The college, UKF college of engineering technology is located in Parippally, Kerala and was established in the year 2009 and is spread across an area of 10 acres of land. The college houses a central library along with a digital library systemized with computers to access e-learning, e-books and e-journals.

The library has circulation services, information search section, reading room facility, book bank collection and periodical section.

The college other facilities include central computing facility, transportation, yoga and meditation center, repo graphic center, medical assistance, gym, cooperative store and college canteen.

Hostel

The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel has sports facility and mess facility. There are scholarships provided by state government and college management to the student’s good at the academics,sports and arts. The college management helps students in claiming education loan from the bank.

Student life

The college has various clubs like music club, innovation and entrepreneur cell, NSS, NCC, computer society, SAE club, UKF garage, IEEE, United nations academics impact and grievance redressal.
