Located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Panimalar Institute of Technology was established in 2008. Spread over a large campus of 18 acres, the college has been approved by All India Council of Technical Education and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The institute has been accredited by NBA and is ISO 9001:2008 certified. The college offers various courses at under graduate level.
The admissions to various courses are merit based. For under graduate engineering courses, the candidate must have a valid score in the entrance test TNEA.
The college has a dedicated training and placement cell to help the students secure decent jobs after graduation. Various companies like Ashok Leyland, Sify Technologies, Standard Chartered, VSNL (Tata Communication) etc visit the campus every year to recruit the students for various job profiles.
