Fee Structure Of YCET, Kollam-Younus College Of Engineering And Technology

Younus College of Engineering and Technology which is a private engineering college came into existence in 2002. It was founded by an Education trust namely, Fathima Memorial Education Trust. The motto of it is Iquraa Bismi Rabbikhalladi Halak. This college is affiliated by AICTE and The University of Kerala.

This private engineering college is situated in Kollam, district of Kerala and covers up a huge area. There are separate hostels for boys and girls as well. Apart from this, it also has a sports complex, cafeteria, extensive library, well-equipped labs etc. It also provides primary health care facility to its students and staffs. In the present time, there are around 75 academic staffs. It has a good placement cell too.

This engineering college offers UG and PG degrees in many engineering branches like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering information Technology Engineering etc. apart from these, it also offers MBA degree.

For getting admission into UG and PG engineering courses, the candidates need to get minimum cut off marks in KEAM. The cut off marks are decided by the college itself and it varies from year to year. For admission in MBA programme, this college accepts MAT score.

Hostel and Facilities

Hostel

The college provides adequately furnished separate hostels for both boys and girls. The rooms are available on twin sharing basis and the hostel provides dining facilities too. The hostels are on campus and are surrounded by natural beauty.

College facilities

The college has a very well stocked computerized library full of numerous books, print journals and e-journals. The e-journals are accessed through J- gate, ASTM digital library and the IEEE.

It has state of the art departmental laboratories, an excellent computer laboratory and also a language laboratory for brushing up the communication skills of the students.

It has its own engineering workshop housed in a separate building and has all the tools necessary for learning metal, welding, foundry , plumbing, smithy, plumbing and carpentry skills and the students have excellent faculty to teach them these skills.

The campus also has a canteen, a general cum stationery stores, anti ragging cell and a special student counselling center.

For recreational purposes the students have their own sports club and arts &literary club. The campus has a football field and a basketball court.
