Established in 1982, the college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. Its courses have been approved by AICTE.

In 2017 it was ranked 85^th amongst all engineering colleges in India by “The Week” magazine. It is also considered to be among the top ten engineering colleges in Bengaluru.

The college does not provide any hostel accommodation.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

The college has well maintained and spacious classrooms. The classrooms are well equipped with projector screens for presentations. ICT facilities are provided to enhance the teaching and learning process.

The laboratories are well maintained and have all the modern equipments for the students to conduct experiments and practical work.

A seminar hall has been built for hosting various expert talks, guest sessions and lectures for the students.

Spread over an area of 17000 square feet, the college has a nice library with a decent collection of text books, reference books, and periodicals, international and national journals. Students can get the course books issued from the library. A total of 60,000 books are available in the library. A sports complex for students interested in outdoor games and activities is also there.

A digital library is also available for the students to access online study material and resources with great ease.

Transport facility is available to the students coming from faraway areas.

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
