Mckv Institute Of Engineering (MCKVIE) Howrah

MCKV Institute of Engineering is a private engineering college founded in 1999. It is situated in Liluah, Howrah, West Bengal.

The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Engineering and Management. The main courses include B.Tech in nine disciplines and M.Tech in Electronics & Communication. Other programs offered are B.Voc in three specializations and an MBA in four specializations.

Institute is autonomous and affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approves it.

Infrastructure includes a library, a conference hall, a health center, a gym, a computer lab and a cafeteria. Sports facilities are also available for students' fitness.

Admission to B.Tech courses requires performance in WBJEE or JEE Mains. M.Tech admissions need valid GATE or PGET scores. MBA candidates must have scores from CAT, GMAT, MAT, JEMAT or XAT.

MCKV Institute of Engineering holds an 'A' Grade accreditation from NAAC. Institute's B.Tech programs also have NBA accreditation. According to India Today Ranking 2023 it is ranked 220th for B.Tech programs. The institute has signed an MoU with the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) in Australia for international collaboration.

In 2023, total of 275 B.Tech students secured placements in many companies.
