Fee Structure of DR Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU) , Lucknow

Post-matric and Fee Reimbursement Scheme:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Minorities and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of Uttar Pradesh.
• Expenses Covered: Tuition fees, hostel fees, maintenance allowance and other charges.
• Eligibility:
  • Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh for SC/ST, Rs. 1 lakh for OBC, Rs. 1 lakh for Minorities and Rs. 2.5 lakh for EWS.
  • Not availing any other scholarship or stipend.
  • Passed the previous examination with at least 50% marks.
  • At least 75% attendance in the current academic year.

Post-matric Scholarships:

• Applicable to: Students belonging to SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories of states other than Uttar Pradesh.
• Expenses Covered: Tuition fees, hostel fees, maintenance allowance and other charges.
• Eligibility:
  • Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh for SC/ST, Rs. 1 lakh for OBC and Rs. 1 lakh for EWS.
  • Not availing any other scholarship or stipend.
  • Passed the previous examination with at least 50% marks.
  • At least 75% attendance in the current academic year.

Scholarships from the Foundation of Excellence India Trust:

• Applicable to: Meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing professional courses in engineering, medicine, law and management.
• Expenses Covered: Tuition fees, hostel fees, books and stationery expenses.
• Eligibility:
  • Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
  • Secured admission in a reputed institution through a competitive entrance exam.
  • Scored at least 70% marks in the qualifying exam.

The Millennium Fellowship by the United Nations Academic Impact and MCN:

• Applicable to: Undergraduate students leading social impact projects on campuses or communities.
• Expenses Covered: Training, mentorship, networking and recognition.
• Eligibility:
  • At least 18 years old and enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited institution.
  • Project idea aligns with one or more United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Able to commit at least 10 hours per week during the fellowship (August-December).

Scholarships for Students with Disabilities:

• Applicable to: Students with disabilities pursuing higher education in any stream.
• Expenses Covered: Tuition fees, hostel fees, maintenance allowance and other charges.
• Eligibility:
  • At least 40% disability as certified by a competent authority.
  • Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 3 lakh.
  • Passed the previous examination with at least 50% marks.

The hostel fee is INR 24,000 per year. This fee includes accommodation in fully furnished double-occupancy rooms.

Mess facility is available at the hostel. Mess charges need to be paid in advance. The mess charges may range between 3,000/- to 3,500/- per month.
